Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee Update

Post Date:01/26/2018 1:00 p.m.
Due to illness, the City's Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee canceled the special meeting scheduled for Monday, January 22. Items to have been covered at the meeting included a discussion with the General Plan Update consultant team on issues and concerns related to non-vehicular traffic in Sausalito. Because the Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee's next regularly scheduled meeting falls on the Presidents' Day holiday (February 19), a special meeting will be calendared as soon as a quorum of the committee agrees on a date.

The staff liaisons for the Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee are Public Works Director Jonathon Goldman and Chief of Police John Rohrbacher. The Council liaison is Vice Mayor Joe Burns. Bjorn Griepenburg serves as the liaison of the Marin County Bicycle Coalition. Residents of Sausalito with interest in applying to fill vacant positions on the Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee are encouraged to apply. If interested, please fill out an application on the City website or contact Sausalito City Clerk Lilly Whalen at lwhalen@sausalito.gov.
