Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee Update

Post Date:02/23/2018 2:00 p.m.
The Sausalito City Council appointed four new members to the City's Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee (PBAC) at its regular meeting on February 13. Russ Irwin, Alex Frankel, and Nathan Scripps were seated as voting members through February 2021. Aaron Sanchez was seated as a non-voting member through February 2021. The new members join current voting members Patricia Pigman and David Suto. The Council also thanked former members Ed Fotsch and Robert Page for their service, and asked the two of them to continue to attend and participate as advisory members through June 2018.

Due to the Presidents' Day holiday, the PBAC's regularly scheduled meeting on February 19 was canceled. Because of scheduling conflicts, the PBAC's regularly-scheduled March 19 meeting has also been canceled, but a special meeting has been scheduled for Monday, March 26.

The staff liaisons for the Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee are Public Works Director Jonathon Goldman and Chief of Police John Rohrbacher. The Council liaison is Vice Mayor Joe Burns. Bjorn Griepenburg serves as the liaison of the Marin County Bicycle Coalition.
