Parks and Recreation Fall Programs
Registration for fall Parks and Recreation programs opens on Monday, August 28. New program offerings this fall include a music class for babies and toddlers presented by Music Together of Marin, and a fencing class for adults (ages 16+) presented by the Golden Gate School of Arms.
This fall, on non-instructional days at the Sausalito-Marin City School District, Sausalito Parks and Recreation will also be introducing "Day-Off Day Camps" for children ages 5-10. The day camps are presented by Mt. Tam Adventures.
Registration for fall programs and classes opens at 8:30 a.m. on August 28 via the Parks and Recreation online registration system or by calling (415) 289-4152.
The fall issue of the Sausalito and Its Community Magazine has a complete listing of programs and events in Sausalito. The magazine will be delivered to all Sausalito homes next week. You will also be able to pick up a copy at City Hall or view it online at the Parks and Recreation website.
After-school programs from Sausalito Parks and Recreation and Willow Creek Academy will be available to middle school students this fall. Programs include Art on Tuesdays, Kung Fu Martial Arts on Wednesdays, and Flag Football on Thursdays. These programs are open to youth ages 10-14. Classes start the week of September 5.
