Post Date:04/13/2018 2:00 p.m.

Between March 26 and April 8, a crew from Conservation Corps North Bay was in Sausalito working on a variety of park projects. Each day's crew consisted of between five and seven young men and women. During its time here in Sausalito, Conservation Corps North Bay was able to:
  • Weed invasive plants at Cloudview Park and cover the area with decorative bark
  • Weed and spread decorative bark at Mary Ann Sears Park
  • Remove grass and weeds from the northern portion of Gabrielson Park and prepare the area for sod by smoothing out the surface with twenty yards of new topsoil
  • Prepare the area in front of the fountain at Viña del Mar Plaza for new sod

Since 1982, Conservation Corps North Bay has helped more than 12,000 young men and women break the cycle of poverty through education and job skills, while serving the environment and local communities.
