Business Advisory Committee Update

The Business Advisory Committee is responsible for periodically evaluating the economy of the City of Sausalito and identifying actions to promote the economic health of the business community.

Previous meeting: The Business Advisory Committee met for a regular monthly meeting on March 15. At the meeting, Councilmember Ray Withy provided an update on the Fort Baker ferry landing and discussed the City's 2018-2020 budget process. The committee also received a special presentation from staff on the City's interim marijuana regulations, and was provided with reports on the General Plan Update and the Planning Commission's approval of a second level for the Fish N' Chips restaurant.
 
Upcoming meeting: The next Business Advisory Committee meeting will take place on Thursday, April 19 at 8:00 a.m. in the City Hall Conference Room. Agenda items include the General Plan Update and the City of Sausalito 2018-2020 budget. All meetings of the Business Advisory Committee are open to the public.

There is currently one vacancy on the committee. Anyone interested in influencing the direction of business and economic development in the City of Sausalito is encouraged to apply.
