City of Sausalito Conducting Public Opinion Survey

Post Date:05/15/2018 2:30 p.m.

The City of Sausalito is now conducting a public opinion survey through a contract with FM3 Research, a California-based company that has been conducting public policy-oriented opinion research since 1981. Randomly selected Sausalito residents are being contacted directly via telephone and email to take the survey through May 21.

The goal of the survey is to help City staff and the City Council learn more about the priorities and concerns of residents and the level of satisfaction with City services. If you receive an email invitation, it will look similar to the one that illustrates this post. The survey consists of thirty-four questions and should take approximately twenty minutes to complete.

To maintain the statistical validity of the survey, participation is by random selection only, and survey invitations cannot be shared with other residents. All responses to the survey are confidential. The identity of individual respondents and their individual answers to questions will not be shared with City officials.

Any questions about the public opinion survey may be directed to Lilly Whalen, Assistant City Manager and City Clerk, at lwhalen@sausalito.gov or (415) 289-4134.
