Participate in the Adult Summer Reading Challenge at the Library

Post Date:06/08/2018 12:00 p.m.

In addition to our annual Summer Reading Program for kids, this year the Sausalito Library is launching a new program for adults, the Adult Summer Reading Challenge.

Beginning on Saturday, June 9, stop by the Library Reference Desk to pick up a reading challenge bingo card. You can also download and print a bingo card to get started without visiting the Library. In addition to bingo squares related to reading, there are community-oriented activities like "Chat with two people about favorite books" and "Visit the Sausalito Historical Society."

Each time you complete five consecutive squares in any direction on your bingo card, come see a reference librarian for a raffle ticket. The more squares you complete, the more chances you'll have to win. If you fill out the whole card, a special grand prize raffle awaits. Raffle prizes include gift cards from local businesses like Joinery, Sea Trek, and Driver's Market.

Bingo cards will only be available at the Reference Desk through August 4, but you'll still be eligible to earn tickets until the prize drawing on Friday, August 31. Any questions about the Adult Summer Reading Challenge may be directed to Tula Biederman at tbiederman@sausalito.gov.
