Halloween Festivities

  • Date: 10/31/2017 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM  
  • Introduction: parade, trick or treat lane and haunted house
Child Friendly Haunted House Preview
  • low key, lights on version geared for the little ones
  • open from 4:15-5:00 pm 
  • $5 per-person/$20 per-family recommended donation.
Firefighter BBQ – 4:30pm
  • Sponsored by Southern Marin Fire
  • Starts at 4:30pm
  • at Station 1 -  the Johnson Street Firehouse
Halloween Parade and Trick or Treat Lane - 6:00pm
  • The Parade starts at 6:00pm sharp
  • Line up at 5:45pm at the Station 1 Firehouse on the corner of Johnson and Caledonia Street. 
  • The Halloween Parade finishes at Trick or Treat Lane locasted at Robin Sweeny Park 
Halloween Parade and activities in Robin Sweeny Park and the Recreation Center are sponsored by Sausalito Parks & Recreation, Caledonia Street Merchants and local community groups. 

Howl’O’Ween Dog Costume Contest – 6:30pm 

  • Dress up your pups and bring them with you on Halloween to compete 
  • Contest is FREE!
  • At Robin Sweeney Park
  • 6:30pm
  • The theme this year is Summer of Love. 
  • Prizes will be awarded to the best themed costume, best non-themed costume and best couple (human and dog). 
  • Sponsored by Soulmates Animal Care
Haunted House – 6:15pm
  • Located in the Game Room at City Hall. 
  • There is a special child friendly version from 4:15pm – 5:00pm
  • Haunt re-opens in full terror mode at 6:15pm. 
  • Ends at 8:30pm
  • $5 per-person/$20 per-family recommended donation.
Haunted House Call for Volunteers 
  • The Haunted House is volunteer planned, designed, and operated.
  • We need your help.
