Zoning Administrator Update

The City's Community Development Director acts as the Zoning Administrator and is assigned the authority and original jurisdiction for duties specified in the Sausalito Municipal Code.

Previous hearing. A hearing of the Zoning Administrator was held on July 24, 2018, in the City Hall Conference Room. The following action was taken at the hearing: 
  • Approved a request for a minor use permit to allow a temporary event called Maritime Day with activities including a flea market, boat building demonstrations, boat rides, live music, and a floating home tour within the Galilee Harbor property at 300 Napa Street on August 4, 2018
Next hearing. The next scheduled hearing of the Zoning Administrator will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 17 in the City Hall Conference Room. The following items are on the agenda:
  • A request for a 180-day extension of the construction time limit for the two-level addition to the existing residence at 112 Marion Avenue
  • A request for a sidewalk dining encroachment permit and a minor use permit to place an outdoor dining area consisting of 4 tables, 16 chairs, and 6 planters in front of the Sushi Ran restaurant at 107 Caledonia Street
All Zoning Administrator hearings are open to the public. If you have any questions about the Zoning Administrator or an item under consideration, please contact the Community Development Department (CDD) at (415) 289-4128. The CDD public counter in City Hall is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
