Community Safety/Disaster Preparedness Committee Update

The role of the Community Safety/Disaster Preparedness Committee is to provide a forum for the community to share comments and concerns regarding public safety in Sausalito, including crime prevention, community outreach, and disaster preparedness education and training.

Previous Meeting. At its meeting on January 9, the committee discussed the disaster preparedness information provided on the City's website and the upcoming 2019 Disaster Preparedness Awareness Event.

Upcoming Meeting. The next meeting of the Community Safety/Disaster Preparedness Committee will be held on Wednesday, February 13 at 5:00 p.m. in the meeting room of Fire Station 1 at 333 Johnson Street. Topics on the agenda include the committee's charter, waterway safety, disaster preparedness educational events, and an update on the automated license plate reader program. All meetings of the committee are open to the public, and community attendance and participation are encouraged.
