Post Date:05/24/2019 1:15 PM

Who loves a parade? If you or your organization wants to participate in the City of Sausalito's annual 4th of July Parade, now is the time to start making plans.

The 2019 parade will get underway at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 4. The parade route begins in Old Town Sausalito at the intersection of Main Street and Second Street, continues along Bridgeway to Caledonia Street, and ends at a judging booth at the corner of Litho and Caledonia streets.

Prizes are awarded to winners in each of three categories: floats, marching groups, and cars. To register yourself or your organization, please use the City's new online registration system. To get started, visit the login page and create an account. A temporary password will be emailed to you, at which point you can log in and set a new password. Registration options may be found in the Start Here section.

For more information about the parade, please visit the 4th of July Festivities webpage on the City website. Any questions may be directed to Recreation Supervisor Julie Myers at (415) 289-4198 or jmyers@sausalito.gov. Parade participants are requested to contribute $25 toward the evening fireworks display at Gabrielson Park.
