Zoning Administrator Update

The City's Community Development Director acts as the Zoning Administrator and is assigned the authority and original jurisdiction for duties specified in the Sausalito Municipal Code.

Previous hearing. A hearing of the Zoning Administrator was held on May 22 in the City Hall Conference Room. The following action was taken at the hearing:
  • Approved a request for a variance for construction of an extension (approximately four feet) of the previously-approved garage in the west side yard setback at 416 Napa Street.
Next hearing. The next hearing of the Zoning Administrator will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 30 in the City Hall Conference Room. The following items are on the agenda:
  • A request for a 180-day extension (to September 17, 2019) to the construction time limit for the project at 60/62 Marion Avenue, which includes the construction of two detached single-family dwellings.
  • A request for an extension to May 8, 2020, of an approved design review permit (DR 16-077) for the construction of new additions to an existing single-family residence at 71 Glen Drive. 
All Zoning Administrator hearings are open to the public. If you have any questions about the Zoning Administrator or an item under consideration, please contact the Community Development Department (CDD) at (415) 289-4128. The CDD public counter in City Hall is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
