Community Safety/Disaster Preparedness Committee Update

The role of the Community Safety/Disaster Preparedness Committee is to provide a forum for the community to share comments and concerns regarding public safety in Sausalito, including crime prevention, community outreach, and disaster preparedness education and training.

Previous Meeting. At its meeting on May 8, the committee discussed the General Plan Update, the City's wildland urban interface ordinance, fire prevention, and upcoming community education events.

Upcoming Meeting. The next meeting of the Community Safety/Disaster Preparedness Committee will be held on Wednesday, June 12 at 5:00 p.m. in the meeting room of Fire Station 1 at 333 Johnson Street. Topics on the agenda include the General Plan Update, the Marin County Grand Jury report on wildland fires, the Landslide Task Force, and upcoming community outreach/education events. All meetings of the committee are open to the public, and community attendance and participation are encouraged.
