Art Festival Returns to Sausalito for Labor Day Weekend

The annual Sausalito Art Festival is returning to Sausalito for Labor Day weekend. 30,000 people are expected to visit Sausalito for the three-day event from August 31 to September 2. Festival hours are Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Monday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The single day, general admission ticket price is $30.

This year's 67th annual festival will feature 260 award-winning artists from around the country. Participating artists are selected by a rigorous jury process and exhibit a range of work, including painting, sculpture, drawing, ceramics, glass, wood, photography, mixed media, and fiber and fashion.

Live music is also a big part of the Sausalito Art Festival. This year's lineup includes national acts like Blues Traveler, ZZ Ward, and Blood, Sweat & Tears.

The festival is produced by the nonprofit Sausalito Art Festival Foundation, which supports year-round activities along with the annual festival. Proceeds support the local arts community as student scholarships, grants to nonprofit arts organizations, and community programs. Each year, over 1,200 community volunteers help to keep the festival running smoothly.
