Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee Update

The role of the Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee is to provide the City Council with recommendations on bicycle and pedestrian circulation in the community.

Previous meeting. The Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee held a regular meeting on Monday, July 15 in the City Hall Council Chambers. Standing agenda items included the General Plan Update, safe routes to school, and traffic congestion.

Upcoming meeting. The next meeting of the Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 16 in the City Hall Council Chambers. In addition to standing agenda items, the committee members will review project priorities and a proposed letter to the City Council and City Manager about enforcement of the parking red zone between Princess Street and El Portal.

All meetings of the Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee are open to the public and are also live streamed and video recorded. The staff liaisons are Chief of Police John Rohrbacher and Director of Public Works Kevin McGowan. The Council liaison is Joe Burns. Bjorn Griepenburg serves as the liaison of the Marin County Bicycle Coalition. Questions, comments, and project ideas may be directed to pbac@sausalito.gov.
