The Seafood Peddler Wins Souper Bowl

Post Date:01/31/2020 3:00 PM

More than 340 ticket holders feasted on clam chowder and tomato bisque, among other concoctions, at Sausalito's fifth annual Souper Bowl on Saturday, January 25. Participants visited 13 downtown and Caledonia Street restaurants to sample soup and help select this year's champion.

When the votes were tallied, the winner of the 2020 Lom-Bowl-Di Trophy was the Seafood Peddler for its clam chowder. The second place finisher was Sushi Ran, and there was a tie for third between Barrel House Tavern and ThaiTanic. This is the second year that the Seafood Peddler has taken home the title, having also won in the event's inaugural year of 2016.

Planning is already underway for the sixth annual Souper Bowl on January 30, 2021. Any questions about Sausalito's Souper Bowl may be directed to Recreation Supervisor Julie Myers at (415) 289-4198 or jmyers@sausalito.gov.
