High Winds Delay Opening of On-Street Dining on Caledonia Street

Post Date:06/27/2020 12:10 PM
High winds have delayed the scheduled opening of on-street dining on the block of Caledonia Street between Pine and Johnson streets. Weather permitting, on-street service will get underway on Thursday, July 2.

So far, F3 and Sartaj are the only restaurants that have provided the City with the insurance documentation necessary to begin on-street service. San Drino and Osteria Divino are expected to be able to begin service in the near future. Arawan Thai has elected not to participate in on-street dining.

The regular schedule for temporary on-street dining along Caledonia Street's "restaurant row" will be dinner on Thursdays and lunch and dinner on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The street configuration calls for a maximum of five tables for each of the four participating restaurants to allow for sufficient distance between dining parties. A fire lane will be left open to provide access for emergency vehicles. Tables will be removed and the street will be reopened at 9:00 p.m. every evening that on-street service is available.

Any questions about temporary outdoor dining on Caledonia Street may be directed to Parks and Recreation Director Mike Langford at
