Community Gives Input on City Priorities at Virtual Town Hall

Post Date:02/05/2021 9:00 PM

The City Council hosted a Town Hall Forum on the evening of February 4 to hear from community members on the most important issues facing Sausalito. More than 100 people attended the forum via Zoom. The event was also broadcast live on the City website. A complete video recording is available on the City's webcasts page.

At the forum, Mayor Jill Hoffman encouraged participants to provide comments based on a ranked list of the most important issues in Sausalito as identified by community members in an online survey conducted between January 28 and February 3. An open public comment period followed the review of the issues from the survey.

The survey asked respondents to identify up to five issues that they considered most important for the City Council to address in 2021 and beyond. Results from the survey were presented at the beginning of the forum and published in advance to the meeting agenda. To see all 369 responses to the survey, go to the responses page and click on either the word cloud for each question or the Responses (370) link next to the Summary button (one response is blank).

If you were unable to participate in the forum or take the survey — or if you have additional thoughts or comments that you would like to share with the City Council — please email your feedback to City Clerk Heidi Scoble at cityclerk@sausalito.gov. The Council plans to hold additional town hall meetings in the coming months.
