Sausalito continues to reach out to partner agencies and elected officials to identify alternate and appropriate housing for individuals who are homeless and are encamped at Dunphy Park.
Tomorrow, City officials will be meeting with Marin County Administrator Matthew Hymel, Marin County Department of Health and Human Services Director Benita McLarin, and Marin County District 3 Supervisor Stephanie Moulton-Peters. In addition, City officials are scheduled to meet with representatives of the Bay Conversation and Development Commission (BCDC), which is responsible for protecting San Francisco Bay and its waterfront.
Sausalito is committed to safeguarding the health, welfare and safety of all members of our community.
Our police department, out of compassion and to ensure safety, is monitoring the encampment, which includes nine adult individuals and their belongings.
The City will provide updates on the Dunphy Park encampment at the end of each week day.
