The City continues to work with local and regional governmental agencies and other partners to locate appropriate alternate housing for occupants of the Dunphy Park encampment.
A Notice to Vacate was issued by the City to the occupants of the Dunphy Park tent encampment on Tuesday, February 9, advising that the Department of Public Works will clean and close the site no earlier than 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, and that temporary, transitional overnight camping would be allowed at a designated and signposted area of Marinship Park. The notice was issued pursuant to resolutions passed by the City Council on February 5. The notice further advised that the clear and close date of February 16 is conditioned upon the availability of storage at Marinship Park.
