On Monday, May 13, PG&E will begin Phase 3 of a project to upgrade power lines, poles, and other electrical infrastructure within
six work areas in central Sausalito.
Phase 3 should last until approximately May 24 and will include work in the vicinity of Caledonia, Bonita, Marie, Napa, Bee, Litho, Locust, and Turney streets; Girard, Filbert, and Cazneau avenues; and Filbert Court.
Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Residences and businesses in work areas requiring a temporary power shutoff will be notified in advance via postal mail.
PG&E hosted a Zoom webinar for residents within the Phase 3 work area on April 16. A copy of the
presentation slides are available on PG&E's
website for the upgrade project in Sausalito.
Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the project have been completed. Phase 1 involved upgrades to the electrical substation in Sausalito. Phase 2 encompassed an area that includes Platt Avenue, Curry Lane, and Toyon Lane.
Questions or concerns about the project can be directed to PG&E's dedicated hotline at 1-800-700-5722 or via email to sausalitocutoverproject@pge.com.
