Infrastructure and Public Works, Property Management on Council Agenda

An overview of the Public Works Department and City infrastructure, management of City-owned rental properties, and the Sausalito Community Boating Center (SCBC) are among the topics on the agenda for the City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19.

The hybrid-format meeting will be conducted in the City Hall Council Chambers and via Zoom. It will also be broadcast live on the City website.

The following business items are on the meeting agenda:
  • Item 5A - Infrastructure and Public Works
    For this item, the Council will receive an update on the operations of the Public Works Department, its staff and services, the current state of City infrastructure, active projects, and funding sources.
     
  • Item 5B - Property Management
    City staff is recommending that the Council approve a $102,000, 12-month contract with Kimber Management to oversee City-owned rental properties. Anticipated benefits of professional management include optimized lease revenue and improved maintenance of City properties.
     
  • Item 5C - Community Boating Center
    The Council will receive an update on the status of the Sausalito Community Boating Center (SCBC) at Cass Gidley Marina and consider terms for a renewed lease at the non-profit organization's facilities on the Dunphy Park shoreline.
