The
City Council will host a special strategic planning workshop on
Saturday, January 11, in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
Light refreshments will be available for attendees starting at 8:30 a.m. The meeting will officially begin at 9:00 a.m. and is expected to conclude around 2:00 p.m.

In addition to the official
meeting agenda, City Manager Chris Zapata has prepared the following
schedule of workshop elements and their approximate start times:
- 8:30 a.m. Social time for City Council, public and staff.
- 9:00 a.m. Mayor Cox begins the meeting and takes public comment.
- 9:30 a.m. Introduction of facilitator, workshop overview, housekeeping.
- 9:35 a.m. Review of Sausalito 2020-26 Strategic Plan.
- 9:50 a.m. Department heads present 2025 priorities.
- 10:35 a.m. Bio break.
- 10:45 a.m. Facilitator frames Council discussion.
- 10:55 a.m. Council discussion and Council review of priorities.
- 11:20 a.m. Working lunch.
- 11:30 a.m. Begin prioritizing goals.
- 12:15 p.m. Align Council goals, staff goals, and strategic plan.
- 2:00 p.m. Public comment, wrap up, next steps.
Please note that public comment will only be heard at the beginning and end of the workshop. Written public comment can be submitted to cityclerk@sausalito.gov, but may not be posted until after the meeting.
The workshop will also be broadcast live via
webcast on the City website. A video recording will subsequently be available in the City Council
