The City of Sausalito will host the second of three public workshops dedicated to adaptation strategies for
sea level rise on Saturday, January 25.
The community-wide event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the
Bay Model Visitor Center in the Marinship district. Light refreshments will be provided.
Workshop components include:
- A summary of the input received at the first community workshop on September 7, 2024.
- A formal presentation on Sausalito's vulnerability to sea level rise and the mitigation strategies available to us.
- Moderated breakout groups to collect community feedback.
Please
RSVP if you plan to attend. Feedback received at the community workshops will provide the basis for a draft Sea Level Rise Adaptation Plan that will be reviewed by the City Council later in the year.
Questions about the workshop can be directed to Resiliency and Sustainability Manager Catie Thow Garcia at cthowgarcia@sausalito.gov.
