The Sausalito City Council held a five-hour strategic planning workshop on Saturday, January 11 in the Council Chambers at City Hall and via Zoom. The aim of the meeting was to focus the Council's efforts in 2025 by establishing a clearly defined set of goals and priorities.

A draft report provided by facilitator Amy Howorth summarizing the Saturday session and 2025 priorities is currently under review by City Manager Chris Zapata. The draft report, which is subject to Council approval, should be available for community review within the next week.

At a future date, the Council is expected to embark on a longer-term strategic planning process to identify goals and priorities beyond 2025. The City's 2020-2026 Strategic Plan is in its final stages.
