Sausalito is facing a shortage of citizen volunteers to serve on boards, commissions, and committees that provide critical advice to the City Council and City staff.

Openings are currently available for Sausalito residents on the following boards and commissions:

• Community Safety and Disaster Preparedness Committee
• Library Board of Trustees
• Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee
• Sustainability Commission

Openings will be available soon for Sausalito residents on the following boards and commissions:

• Historic Preservation Commission
• Planning Commission
• Economic Development Advisory Committee

Members of boards and commissions are appointed by the City Council after an interview process to assess the qualifications of applicants.

Meetings are typically held monthly or quarterly. If you think you might be interested in applying for one or more of the City boards and commissions listed above, please fill out an application form.
