Sustainability Commission to Discuss Adaptation Strategies for Southern Waterfront
Post Date:02/07/2025 2:15 PMThe meeting of the Sustainability Commission at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, will have a single agenda item: long-term sea level rise adaptation strategies for the southern waterfront, including the Bridgeway walkway from Princess Street to Richardson Street.
The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers and will also have a virtual participation option. A recording of the meeting will be available soon after its conclusion.
This long-term project covers a similar segment of Bridgeway as the bike lane project that was recently recommended by the Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee and will be considered by the City Council at an upcoming meeting. The Sustainability Commission will not be discussing the merits of that project, nor will the Bridgeway median be under discussion.
