The City’s Park Maintenance Department recently performed a recruitment process to fill the position of Park Maintenance Supervisor, held for many years by Kent Basso who recently retired. The recruitment and subsequent acquisition to fill the position took several weeks with other qualified applicants. In the end, the City's very own Oscar Lucario was promoted to the position.

Lucario brings a wealth of knowledge to the position regarding plants and horticulture. Lucario is well recognized in the community, as well as throughout Marin County for his knowledge of landscaping. Lucario has received several awards in the past for his efforts. We welcome Oscar Lucario as the new Park Maintenance Supervisor.
