The
Marin City Juneteenth Festival at
Rocky Graham Park will be held on
Saturday, June 21. The festival begins at 11:00 a.m. with an Opening Ceremony. This year's Juneteenth Festival theme is "Kuumba," meaning creativity in Swahili.
The festival will highlight local vendors, small businesses, food, fashion, jewelry, art, books, and more. Admission to the family-friendly event is free. The event will include a jumping tent, face painting, art creation tables and horse rides for children and families. Supervised child care will be provided in a gated playground,
Before the festival officially begins, Marin City Community Services District will host a Prayer Breakfast at 9:30 a.m. at the Senior Center, adjacent to Rocky Graham Park, at 640 Drake Avenue in Marin City. Admission to the Prayer Breakfast is $20 and you can learn more on the event webpage.
