Highlights from the Special Fourth of July Celebration in Sausalito

Post Date:07/11/2025

Sausalito had a big, wonderful turnout for the 2025 Fourth of July parade! This year's Grand Marshal was Yoshi Tome, a Sausalito business owner since 1986. The parade was filled with talented performers, including the Cal Alumni Marching Band, Performing Stars of Marin, and jazz and rock musicians. There were line dancers, classic cars, floats, clowns and so much more. Locals and visitors filled the sunny streets of Downtown and Caledonia Street to watch the parade and celebrate Independence Day.

The special day continued with a picnic at Dunphy Park with live music, food, and games. Despite the fireworks cancellation, the party persisted and people boogied with Top Shelf Classics Party and Show Band, mingled with neighbors, and welcomed visitors. Many watched San Francisco's beautiful firework show on the Bay from Sausalito's waterfront. The City is negotiating with the fireworks company to reschedule or receive a credit for the canceled event. Thank you to those who joined in on the fun this year!
