At their regular meeting on June 17, 2025, the City Council approved a balanced budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year totalling $31,674,497 for operations and $17,755,574 for capital improvements. The 2025-2026 budget document is now available to read. 

The 2025-2026 budget maintains current service levels from City departments, provides funding to meet City Council priorities and invests major funds in the City's infrastructure. The major recommended changes in the budget include personnel changes, liability insurance, pensions, and use of former Fire Station 29.
