As wildfire season intensifies across California, the Southern Marin Fire District has teamed up with The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) to launch a Wildfire Action Plan, a powerful new resource for local preparedness. 

This comprehensive, community-focused guide is designed to help residents, business owners, and neighborhood groups stay safer, more informed, and better prepared as wildfire risks continue to escalate. 

The guide covers how to make a plan, create defensible space around your home or business, find your evacuation route, build an emergency supply kit, prepare for power outages, return home after a wildfire and more.
