Last week, the Sausalito Police Department called on the Marin County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team to assist in locating a missing person in Sausalito. Within a couple hours of being notified, 46 Search and Rescue personnel responded and worked tirelessly to assist the Sausalito Police Department in finding and locating the at-risk missing person. The Police Department also received support from CARDA Search Dogs, SAR Falcon Cell Phone Forensics, the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Marin Sheriff Drone Team, and Southern Marin Fire.
