The Toast of Sausalito is Tomorrow: Attend like a Pro

Caledonia Street will transform into a bustling street fair featuring art, live music, and beer, wine and spirits from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18.

The festival is free, all ages, and jam packed with activities including salsa dance lessons, grape stomping, barn dancing, a dunk tank, matchbox racing, hula hoop lessons and community art projects. Sign up for the free activities on The Toast's webpage

Interested in unlimited tasting from 45 beverage vendors? Purchase your wristband in advance online for $45. Tip: You may purchase a wristband the day-of the event but the price increases to $55. 

Ten food vendors will have meals and snacks available for purchase, including Sushi RanDavey Jones Deli, Gilligans Poke ShopSmokin Woods BBQ. Music lovers can visit three different stages of live performances from Boot JuiceGuajironJohn AllairMads Tolling, as well as DJs spinning all day at Robin Sweeny Park. Shoppers can peruse over 100 booths featuring local artisans.

Plan your fun:
  • Download a festival map to make a game plan and plan what vendors, activities, and stations you'd like to visit. 
  • Visit the Toast to Sausalito website for band and activity schedules, a list of food offerings, and beverage vendors.
  • Expect sunny weather with temperatures in the high 60s, so consider bringing sunscreen, a sun hat, and a water bottle. There will be a water bottle refill station near the Locust St. and Caledonia St. intersection. Sausalito Parks and Recreation will sell aluminum water bottles at the wristband booths. 
  • Sustainability tip: Bring a reusable bag for your purchases.
    Plan transportation:
    • Drink responsibly. Bike, walk, take a rideshare or public transit, or enlist a designated driver if you will be drinking alcohol at the event. For those coming from across the bay via ferry, a shuttle will be available to bring people to and from Caledonia Street.
    • Free event parking will be at 1-3 Harbor Dr., which includes a shuttle to and from the event from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. For additional parking, visit the five Parking lots in town, street parking, and metered parking spots throughout town. Please do not park in residential neighborhoods. Regular parking rates and posted rules apply.
    • Are you a Sausalito resident and over 60? You can get a free ride from CARSS volunteers. Call 415-944-5474 to schedule your ride in advance. 

    Street Closures:

    • Caledonia Street from Johnson to Bee St. will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18.
    • The cross streets (Litho, Turney, and Pine) will be closed to through traffic from Bridgeway to Bonita St. from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 
    • Locust St. between Caledonia and Bonita Streets will be closed to through traffic for stage construction from 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17, to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18.
