Halloween is almost here! We asked you for Halloween pics from last year and you delivered. Thank you,
Kathryn Strietmann and
Karin Rittenberg,
for sending us your photos!
Join Sausalito Parks and Recreation and your friends and neighbors for a spooky and fun evening along Caledonia Street on
Friday, October 31.
Here's the lineup of events:
- Between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m., drop off your artfully carved pumpkin at Robin Sweeny Park. Voting by the public will start at 5:30 p.m. and continue until 7:30 p.m.
- At 5:45 p.m., gather near the fire station at the corner of Johnson and Caledonia Streets for the fabulous costume parade down Caledonia Street to Robin Sweeny Park. Costumes are encouraged but not mandatory.
- Head over to Trick-or-Treat Lane at 6:15 p.m., where local organizations will have candy for kids at the Robin Sweeny Park basketball courts. There will also be free, reusable trick-or-treat bags.
- At 6:30 p.m., participate in the Howl’O’Ween Dog Costume Contest. Dress up your pups and bring them with you to compete in this free contest held in Robin Sweeny Park. The contest categories are best little dog, best medium dog, best big dog, and best couple (human and dog). Soulmates staff will be judging and awarding prizes.
If you'd like us to showcase your best Halloween costumes from last year, send photos to currents@sausalito.gov. We'd love to feature your photos!
