Post Date:12/05/2025We kicked off the holiday season downtown on December 3 with a festive tree-lighting ceremony at Viña del Mar Park featuring a community sing-along and a visit from Santa Claus, who arrived in style in a blue convertible. Public officials and community members brought cheer and holiday spirit.
The City of Sausalito extends a special thanks to Downtown Sausalito Association, Sausalito Chamber of Commerce, Winterfest Sausalito, and many other businesses, organizations, and individuals for their exceptional contributions to this year's festivities.

Performing Stars, a Marin nonprofit founded in 1990, empowers low-income and at-risk youth through arts, music, theater, and enrichment programs that build confidence and inspire possibility.
