Marin Rapid Response Presentation at the February 17 City Council Meeting

Lisa Bennett, Multicultural Center of Marin’s Executive Director, gave a presentation at the February 17 City Council Meeting on Marin Rapid Responsea community-led project developed to make residents aware of their rights in interactions with ICE and to provide support during and after a community member’s arrest or detention. You can view the presentation on the February 17 meeting agenda.

Sausalito follows the California Values Act (SB 54), a state law that "prohibits local law enforcement from using its resources for immigration enforcement, with limited exceptions." Learn more about the California Values Act on the ACLU's website.
