The Southern Marin Fire Protection District (SMFD) recently coordinated the donation of surplus medical supplies to support humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine.
The shipment will ensure critical equipment reaches communities and first responders facing ongoing challenges. By repurposing life-saving resources that are no longer needed locally, the District continues its commitment to service beyond our borders, extending compassion, partnership, and practical support to those working tirelessly to save lives under extraordinary circumstances.
The Rotary Club of Sausalito is actively accepting donations to help cover the shipping and logistics costs for sending these life-saving supplies overseas.
SMFD is proud to support this effort and partner with local organizations to ensure that usable surplus supplies continue to make a meaningful impact where they are urgently needed.
