The selected consultant firm (“Consultant”) must include a professional engineer licensed in the state of California with the ability and experience to provide comprehensive technical study and mapping that Office of the Director of Public Works Page 5 of 27 addresses the City’s concerns as specified in this Request for Proposal. The Consultant must demonstrate the capacity to work with City representatives, citizens, professional service consultants, designers and engineers, and construction companies related to the Project. The Project study area incorporates all City of Sausalito jurisdictional boundaries.

The Consultant will provide the following services to the City (as further detailed in Section 6 (Scope of Services) in RFP linked below:

1. Development of a preliminary plan for the installation of bike facilities on either side of Bridgeway Boulevard from Princess Street to 2nd Street which include several alternatives to be discussed with the various interested groups and the public.

2. Development Plans Specifications and Estimates for the project to be utilized for construction if the City decides to move forward with the construction of the project.

3. Development of public outreach materials and all necessary documentation to assist the public with participating in the project and informing them of possible impacts related to project implementation.

4. Assist the City by leading all public outreach meetings and public meetings related to the development of the project.
