The Role of the Insurance Committee

  • The Insurance Committee is a standing subcommittee consisting of two councilmembers.
  • The Insurance Committee is tasked with assessing and recommending insurance coverage options while evaluating potential risks to city operations and assets.

Meetings

  • The Insurance Committee meets as needed.
  • The Committee meets via Zoom until further notice.
  • All meetings of the Insurance Committee are open to the public.
  • Meeting times and agendas may be viewed on the meetings and agendas page for the Insurance Committee.
  • A document archive of older agenda packets and meeting notes is also available.

Membership

  • The mayor and one other representative from the Sausalito City Council.

    Liaison

    • The staff liaison is the Director of Finance, Human Resources Manager, and the City Attorney.
