    Sausalito City Manager Adam Politzer has appointed Lilly Whalen as the City's new Community Development Director. The appointment removes the "interim" from a job title that Lilly has held since July 2018.

The issue was last considered on February 28, 2017, when the Council voted to maintain the current prohibition on short-term rentals and address the issue as part of the General Plan Update.

    This new program offers reduced-fee or no-cost building permits for home modifications like entry ramps and handrails. Without the grant program, the building permit fee for a new entry ramp could be as high as $350.
