The City of Sausalito has a vibrant history of special events going back over 40 years. Our events include:

Expand/Contract Questions and Answers
- Community members and organizations are welcome to join the 4th of July parade
- To sign up to join the parade, fill out a parade entry form
- More information will be sent to parade participants around parade time
- The 4th of July fireworks show is wholly paid for by donations from the community, its organizations, business, and individual donors. You can donate by sending a check to: City of Sausalito Fireworks, 420 Litho Street, Sausalito, CA 94965
- Yes, you can bring your dog to any of the events that take place outdoors in City parks
- Be aware that some of the events (Jazz and Blues by the Bay, 4th of July Picnic and Fireworks show to name a few) are crowded and feature loud music
- The Parks and Recreation Department does have a limited number of hours available for volunteers or community service at some of our events and in the office. Regular volunteering hours are not available. If you are interested in helping out please contact Julie Myers at jmyers@sausalito.gov.
- It's easy to sign up to be a chef at the Chili Cook-Off; just fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
- City Wide Yard Sale booths are available for both residents and non-residents to rent
- There are no craft vendors allowed, nor are sellers of new items
- Only garage sale items are allowed, and the City reserves the right to refuse anyone who is selling any item if feels is not appropriate for this event
- Booths are available for rent a month before the event, and normally sell out.
- Booths rental rates range from $15 to $36.

- The only events we need bands for are Jazz and Blues by the Bay, the Fourth of July Picnic and Fireworks show, and the Chili Cook Off
- If you want to submit your band for consideration for one of these events, please send your press kit (including links to videos/music) to Julie Myers at jmyers@sausalito.gov
- Bands for Jazz and Blues by the Bay will start being evaluated in January and will be chosen in March; only those bands chosen will get a response due to the high volume of requests/submissions.
- Season tables are available to sponsors starting in January
- Resident and non-resident season tables are available starting in mid-February
- Tables can be reserved by calling (415) 289-4152
- Table sponsorships range from $700 - $3,500
- Resident season tables cost $550, and non-resident are $650
- The most up-to-date information will always be available on jazzandbluesbythebay.com
- Yes, there are a limited number of nightly tables available for each Jazz and Blues by the Bay concert
- Nightly tables go on sale in March and sell out quickly
- Book early by calling (415) 289-4152
- The cost is $50 for residents, and $60 for non-residents
- Yes, and yes
- Food and beverages are sold at Jazz and Blues; each night is sponsored by a local non-profit that sells the food as a fundraiser
- Also, you can bring a picnic of your own
- There are no restrictions as to food or beverages can be brought to Jazz and Blues
