*7/4/25, 7pm UPDATE** FIREWORKS CANCELLED
We are very sorry to announce that tonight’s Sausalito fireworks show has been cancelled due to an unexpected issue with the watercraft set to launch the fireworks.
We are just as disappointed as you are. Those who purchased fireworks viewing tables will receive a full refund. All are invited you join us for live music in Gabrielson Park until 9:00 pm.
Have your heart set on fireworks? The San Francisco fireworks are still scheduled to go off at 9:30 pm They will be launched from Pier 39 and Aquatic Park.

About the Festivities
This day full of events is free and open to the public. We are celebrating with a parade, live music, food, games, and fireworks! When attending our events, please remember to keep Sausalito parks and the SF Bay beautiful by placing all refused in the correct bins.

4th of July Schedule of Events:
10:00am: Parade starts in Old Town
12:00pm-4:00pm: Picnic at Dunphy Park
6:30pm: Evening party at Gabrielson Park
9:15pm-9:30pm: Fireworks show at Gabrielson Park (Tables are SOLD OUT!)
Parade
This year's Grand Marshal will be Yoshi Tome, a Sausalito business owner since 1986, who is very involved in the Chamber of Commerce and supporter of Sister Cities program with Sakaide, Japan!
The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. and starts on the corner of Second and Main, it moves along Bridgeway to Caledonia Street and ends at Dunphy Park.
NOTE Street Closure 9:45a - 11:45a: Main St. and 2nd St up Bridgeway, all of Caledonia St. up to Bridgeway and Napa will be closed to thru traffic.
Picnic
Gather for an afternoon picnic at Dunphy Park. The Craig Cafall Band will play from 12:30-4:00pm in the gazebo. We'll host our annual egg toss and tug of war competitions.
Sausalito Rotary will be selling hot dogs and hamburgers. Galilee Harbor will sell fish & chips, fries, corn, and watermelon. The Rec'ers will be serving wine, margaritas, and beer and accepting cash only.
Sausalito Parks & Recreation will have water, soda, and locally designed t-shirts for sale. There is a limited supply of shirts and they will only be available at the fireworks if supplies last.

Fireworks
The evening events will take place at Gabrielson Park. The lively band Top Shelf Classics is sure to keep you dancing from 6:30-9pm. Fireworks will begin around 9:15pm and last for half an hour.
Casablanca Moroccan & Mediterranean will be serving food. They are accepting cash and/or card.
Bring your blankets, beach chairs (low to the ground and no high backs), or reserve a table.

Fireworks Tables
Enjoy the best view of the fireworks at one of our viewing tables! Savor a picnic or take out from a Sausalito restaurant, as you feast your eyes on an awesome view of the bay and groove to upbeat music in the park. Tables are available for use from 6pm until the end of the fireworks. Each table includes 6 chairs. (this is the maximum occupancy per table)
Firework Tables cost $120 + credit card fees.

Parking
Parking is limited in Sausalito, so we always encourage walking, biking, public transportation, or carpooling to our events.
Parking in the parade staging area of Old Town, along the parade route, and in Dunphy Park will be closed until the parade ends at noon.
Parking is available on the street or in one of the City's public lots. The flat rate for Fourth of July parking in the lots is $25 unless you have a 94965 Resident Parking Passcard, which will give you free all-day parking.
