Event Information
Bohème Out of the Box brings a modern twist to Puccini’s classic opera La Bohème to iconic downtown Sausalito, just steps from the picturesque waterfront. Presented in partnership with the Sausalito Parks & Recreation Department, the Sausalito Center for the Arts, and Marin Open Studios, this unique 70-minute production is performed on a mobile stage made from a repurposed shipping container. Directed by Jose Maria Condemi, Bohème Out of the Box, will be performed by guest artists and San Francisco Opera’s Adler Fellows with piano accompaniment. The opera will be sung in Italian, and guests will be able to read live English translations on their smartphones.
