    Construction of the base project at Dunphy Park will be "substantially complete" by July 4, 2019, according to a report presented to the City Council on April 30 by Loren Umbertis of the Public Works Department.

    Renovations to the five tennis courts at MLK Park will take longer than expected after City contractor Maggiora & Ghilotti, Inc. discovered that the entire subgrade beneath the courts will require regrading and compacting.

    The removal of mudslide debris from the North Street Steps was completed on Wednesday, April 24. However, the steps will remain closed until the City is able to confirm the stability of the remaining slope and the safety of the steps that were under the debris pile.
