About The Sausalito Police Department's VIPS

  • The Sausalito Police Department Volunteers In Public Safety (VIPS) program is a cooperative effort between the Sausalito Police Department, Southern Marin Fire Department, Sausalito residents and businesses, and other concerned members of the public.
  • VIPS members are committed to assisting the Sausalito Police Department and Southern Marin Fire Protection District in their goals of:
    • Enhancing community safety.
    • Protecting life and property.
    • Reducing the impact of crime.
    • Working with the community.
  • Our VIPS help resolve problems in our community using every available resource, including organizational partnerships, with the goal of long-term solutions.
