On Thursday, December 9, the City of Sausalito received court approval to relocate the Marinship Park tent encampment from the grassy area of the park to the tennis courts, providing a safe camping site for encampment occupants and enabling the City to broaden its analysis of the grassy area.

The intensity of the current storm has caused damage across Sausalito, taking down trees and power lines and displacing residents of the tent encampment in Marinship Park. As of 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 24, power outages were affecting approximately 800 residences.

Today, Willow Creek spends most of its time from Highway 101 to Richardson's Bay in underground culverts. The only section where the creek flows in open air is a small nature preserve that extends to the west of the new sign and guardrail.
