On September 30, City contractor Resource Environmental began collecting, loading, and hauling away debris from the site of the mudflow that struck the Hurricane Gulch neighborhood in February 2019. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Norman Clifford Wohlschlaeger passed away on July 20, 2019. A Sausalito resident for more than 50 years, Norm served as the City's public works director from 1963 until his retirement in 1989.
