  • Faulty Ground Wire Caused Fireworks Delay on July 4

    A faulty ground wire was behind the delayed start of this year's 4th of July fireworks, according to Parks and Recreation Director Mike Langford. The fireworks were scheduled to begin at approximately 9:15 p.m., but were delayed 45 minutes while repairs were underway.
