  • High Wind and Heavy Rain Expected on Wednesday, January 16

    With the expected arrival of an atmospheric river, the National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Watch for Sausalito and the San Francisco Bay Area beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16 and continuing into the night. Moderate-to-heavy rain is also forecast.

    Mayor Joe Burns began the City Council meeting on Tuesday, January 8 with a special proclamation in honor of Gene Hiller, whose Gene Hiller Menswear has been a fixture in downtown Sausalito for almost 60 years. Gene passed away in December 2018 at the age of 90.
